COMMUNITY CENTER MEETING

The program on the 9th is Charles Burden. He will have a presentation on the mill camps of Cedar Mountain area in the last century and the families that were involved.   We will also have the county planning board visiting the Cedar Mountain community, I will have a date for that soon.

The Chicken Dinner was a wonderful success with so much help from the members of our community. We would like to give special thank to; Thelma & Doug Pace, Jane VanHook, Randy & Elisia Pace, Ann Cleveland, Nancy Myers, Aleen Steinberg, Anita Goldschmidt, Deborah Perkins, and  Peyre & Aleshka Cleveland, and many others that helped out. A Big Thank You to everyone that baked homemade pound cakes for the desserts.

We served about 10 dinners and raised over $600 to go toward the Cedar Mountain Community Barn Fund.

We always have an interesting program.  Bring a neighbor, a friend and a dish to share.  Starts at 6:15 pm
